Koo Jun-hoe (aka Junhoe), an actor and member of the group iKON, will begin his mandatory military service next month.

The news was shared by his agency 143 Entertainment on 28 July, saying that he will be enlisting on 11 August and will begin his military service as an active-duty soldier.

“As a large number of soldiers and their families will be present on the day of his enlistment, we do not plan to hold a separate official event,” the agency added.

It also urged fans to refrain from visiting the site to prevent safety accidents.

The agency continued, “We ask for your continued support and love until Koo Jun-hoe faithfully completes his military service and returns in good health.”

Junhoe made his music debut with iKON in 2015. In addition to singing, he is also active as an actor through dramas like “No Mercy,” “Twinkling Watermelon,” and “Again 1997.”
