SHINee’s Taemin was revealed to have signed an exclusive contract with Galaxy Corporation.
Confirming the news on 11 March, Galaxy Corporation announced, “We will not spare our full support so that Taemin’s unique artistic ability can create synergy with our cutting-edge technology.”
With this move, Taemin will now be working with fellow resident artiste G-Dragon, actor Song Kang-ho, and TV personality Kim Jong-kook.
Making his debut as a member of SHINee in 2008, Taemin has been a key player in the K-pop craze, releasing numerous hits like “Replay,” “Ring Ding Dong,” and “View.” Since his solo debut in 2014, he has solidified his position as a solo artiste with unparalleled performance prowess, with hits like “Danger,” “Move,” and “Thirsty.”
He is also set to perform on stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on 11 and 18 April.
