It was revealed that NCT’s Jisung is joining the cast of “Crash” in the upcoming sequel, “Crash 2”.
On 13 October, the production team shared images from the script-reading session, which sees original actors like Lee Min-ki, Kwak Sun-young, Heo Sung-tae, Lee Ho-chul and Moon Hee reprising their roles from the 2024 drama.
Jisung joins the cast as rookie patrol officer Ji Dae-se at Namgang Police Station.
In “Crash 2,” the Namgang Police Station’s Traffic Crime Investigation Team (TCI) is reborn as a regional investigation unit under the National Investigation Headquarters to solve nationwide traffic crime cases.
The production team stated, “As the scope of the investigation expands nationwide, the traffic crimes TCI faces become more sophisticated, and the scale of the crimes grows significantly. Please look forward to the exploits of TCI as they once again embark on an unstoppable race to wipe out these increasingly elaborate crimes, along with their even stronger teamwork.”
Writer Oh Soo-jin and PD Park Joon-woo will continue to handle the script and direction, following Season 1.
