Following Yudai Sano’s announcement that he has been diagnosed with adjustment disorder, Japanese boy band INI’s camp revealed that the remaining members will be going ahead as a 10-member group for the time being.
The announcement, titled “Notice Regarding Yudai Sano’s Absence from the Kyocera Dome Osaka Performance of ‘2026 INI 5TH ANNIVERSARY DOME TOUR [CITY OF LIGHTS]’,” stated, “As previously announced, Yudai Sano has suspended his activities since 18 September 2026, due to health reasons. Sano had previously been diagnosed with adjustment disorder, and while he continued his activities while receiving treatment in accordance with his wishes, based on the judgment of his doctor, he is now focusing on his recovery.”
“After considering his current condition and consulting with him again, we have decided that he will not be performing at the Kyocera Dome Osaka concert of the ‘2026 INI 5TH ANNIVERSARY DOME TOUR [CITY OF LIGHTS]’ scheduled for 14 November (Sat) and 15 November (Sun). The concert will proceed as planned with the remaining 10 members,” the statement added.
However, the rep stated that there are no plans for them to refund tickets or reschedule the event due to Sano’s withdrawal from the performance.
“We deeply apologise for the great inconvenience and worry caused to everyone who was looking forward to his performance and participation. We ask for your understanding.”
For the time being, the singer will continue to focus on his recovery, with any updates regarding his health and return to be announced as soon as it is confirmed.
