Lu Han’s camp has recently released a statement slamming speculations that the singer had an affair with Chinese social media influencer Si Xiaodi (aka Roosie).
The whole issue sparked on 6 July, when the Internet celebrity, who previously admitted to having slept with several top celebrities, posted several private photos of stars as well as chat logs and video screenshots with a man who resembles Lu Han.
Several of the photos are screenshots of video calls with a red-haired man, and the flooring in some scenes is said to match Lu Han’s home. Given that the singer has previously sported red hair, many speculated that the red-haired man was highly likely to be him.
Many also noted that the singer was still in a relationship with Guan Xiaotong at the time of the incident, which meant that he was cheating on her if the man in the photos is confirmed to be him.
In response, the singer’s agency posted, “Last night and this morning, in response to the large-scale rumours and defamation against Mr. Lu Han’s private life on major platforms such as Douban, Weibo, Douyin, and Xiaohongshu, our studio has commissioned lawyers to legally secure dozens of pieces of evidence and has initiated relevant legal proceedings.”
“Our studio once again reminds netizens that any individual or organisation that continues to infringe upon Mr. Lu Han’s reputation through fabrication and dissemination of rumours will be held legally responsible. Please immediately cease spreading false information and delete any related content already published,” it added.
