After 10 years together, Malaysian-born model Lisa Ch’ng and TVB actor Mat Yeung are about to begin a new chapter in their lives.
After months of preparation, the couple will hold a grand wedding at the JW Marriott Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 2 August. With the wedding just around the corner, the couple recently released their pre-wedding photos taken in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai, featuring them in multiple wedding attires.
It was reported that the bridal wardrobe alone cost more than HKD 1 million, which included a gown from The Atelier by Prof. Jimmy Choo’s Autumn/Winter 2026 ‘Twilight Stellaris’ collection.

Mat Yeung and Lisa Ch’ng first met while working on the sitcom “Come Home Love,” and sparks flew in early 2016. They publicly acknowledged their relationship in May of the same year.
The two have faced ups and downs together, from Mat’s severe leg injury shortly after they started dating, to the significant losses his restaurant suffered due to the pandemic, and his traffic accident in Mid-Levels, of which he ultimately receiving an 18-day prison sentence and a two-year driving ban.
In 2023, after Lisa’s father, Datuk Bill Ch’ng Chong Poh, passed away, Mat remained by her side, fully assisting with all the funeral arrangements and supporting his girlfriend through her grief. The actor has repeatedly and publicly pledged that he “will not marry anyone but Lisa Ch’ng.”
