Hong Kong and Malaysian showbiz veterans Eric Tsang and Jack Lim are set to bring an electrifying pre-Lunar New Year celebration to Resorts World Genting on 18 January 2025. The dynamic duo, known for their charismatic performances, will headline “The Snake Show”, an immersive live event that serves as a lead-up to their latest collaborative film, “Money Games”.
Joining Eric and Jack on stage will be an impressive lineup of entertainment personalities. From Hong Kong, Bobby Au-Yeung will make his anticipated return to the silver screen, while Edmond So of the band Grasshopper adds to the star power. The Malaysian contingent includes Haoren, Tomato, and Ah Ya from Steady Gang, along with performers Jovi Heng, Wayne Thong, Jacqueline Tiang, and Sandra Lim.
The event will also feature Singaporean actor-comedian Jaspers Lai, local media personality Aki Chan, the wacky ensemble Go Hell Holiday, and the new-generation pop group TE3N. Their collective presence promises a night of unparalleled entertainment that bridges comedy, music, and performance.
The film “Money Games”, directed by Malaysian filmmaker Matt Lai, represents a significant departure for Jack Lim from his usual festive comedies. The movie follows Master Tsang (played by Eric Tsang) and his team of undercover agents breaking up a scam syndicate, offering a more serious take on contemporary social issues.
Eric and Jack’s collaborative effort aims to create a one-of-a-kind experience that celebrates the upcoming Year of the Snake with energy, creativity, and star power. The Snake Show will be Malaysia’s first large-scale immersive interactive live show, bringing audiences into the world of “Money Games” through exciting games, explosive performances, and reenactments of well-known movie scenes.
“The Snake Show” will take place at the Arena of Stars, promising an unforgettable night with two of Asia’s most beloved entertainment icons.
