After confirming his relationship with Renee Li earlier, Philip Ng finally made their romance public by attending the HK premiere of “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” together.
The actor, who happily took a photo with Renee but declined to be interviewed together, said that he has no pressure of making his relationship public and that he would not be hiding his date from anybody.
“We both have met each other’s parents and my family trust my choice,” he said. When mentioned that he once said he is not interested in marriage and asked if he still feels that way, Philip responded, “We will continue to get to know each other. The most important thing is that everybody is happy.”
Philip also shared that he wants to work more to earn money so that he can open up his own studio.
When asked if he will cast Renee in his movies, the actor said that it will depend on the suitability of the role.
“Dating is a private matter, but I understand that we are public figures and the audience will be interested in knowing more. I hope to achieve a balance and retain some private space,” he added.
