Eva Huang recently admitted that Jia Nailiang was actually her first love.
The actress, who was asked about the topic of first love during a variety show, said that her first love was a classmate in university, whom she initially did not name.
“Maybe I had never thought about it before, and I was ‘suppressed’ for too long. When I got to college, I really wanted to have a campus romance. And the teacher often asked us to rehearse homework together,” she said.
Following her admission, the show began speculating on his identity, and asked if the man is a well-known person, to which she nodded.
They also dug out Eva’s graduation photo from the Beijing Film Academy and noticed Jia in the actress’ group photo.
Asked if it was Jia, she nodded again and laughed, saying that it felt awkward. She then added, “We still keep in touch and are very good friends.”
Eva, who was married for 18 years to Yang Zi, ended their marriage early this year. Meanwhile, Jia, who tied the knot with actress Li Xiaolu in 2012, ended his marriage following Li’s cheating scandal.
