Jing Boran has recently decided to address old reports that have now resurfaced about his family background once and for all in a recent interview.
The actor, who became popular again recently after the release of his new drama, “The Early Spring,” found himself getting discussed online, with many digging out old stories of him supposedly being abandoned by his biological mother 28 days after his birth.
It was also said that his parents divorced and he was raised by his grandmother, and that he also had to work to earn money from a young age.
In a livestream to promote the drama, Jing said he was confused as to the source of these stories. He added that he has a very good relationship with his mother.
“First of all, I did not work as a child, and my mother did not abandon me after 28 days. My mother and I have a very good relationship. I don’t know where this news came from,” he said.
Regarding online claims that he grew up in poverty and was forced to work as a child to support his family, he explicitly clarified that he never had any work experience as a child, and that this was completely fake news. He also denied that his father didn’t love his family, adding that he felt compelled to defend his parents.
Jing said that while it’s gratifying for his work to gain attention, and it’s fine for the public to “dig up” his old photos as entertainment, he still hopes that everyone won’t believe fake news.
