Netflix has recently dismissed rumours that Lovelyz’s Jeong Yein has been cast to replace Ha Young in the new season of “The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call”.
On 23 September, amid reports that the singer-actress will be joining the franchise, a rep from the streamer stated that “nothing has been confirmed yet” when it comes to the role, and that “casting discussions are underway.”
On the other hand, Yein’s management SUBLIME stated that there has been no discussion regarding her involvement in the series.
Ha Young previously announced her departure from the new season of the series, following the backlash that stems from revelation that her great-grandfather was Ahn Sang-ho, a doctor during the Japanese colonial period who was reportedly engaged in pro-Japanese activities.
The Netflix series is a medical drama depicting the exhilarating adventures of genius doctor Baek Kang-hyuk (Joo Ji-hoon), as he takes charge of a nominal severe trauma team to revive it.
