Mat Yeung and Lisa Ch’ng are now officially husband and wife.

The couple tied the knot in a luxurious ceremony, held on 2 August at the JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Among stars who were seen at the nuptials were the bride’s sister Jacquelin, actor Kenneth Ma and wife Roxanne Tang, Toby Chan, Jacky Chai, as well as the cast of “Come Home Love,” the same show where Lisa and Mat first met each other.

Nancy Sit, who is also currently filming a Lunar New Year movie in Malaysia, also made an appearance.

Speaking to the media about the wedding, Lisa said that they decided to hold it in Malaysia due to the fact that a lot of her relatives reside in the country. At the same time, it was a way for her to honour her late father, Datuk Bill Ch’ng Chong Poh.

Regarding their honeymoon, which has been a topic of much public interest, the couple stated that they haven’t made any concrete plans yet. Mat explained that they had just finished their wedding in Kuala Lumpur, and both had filming commitments afterward, so they planned to focus on work and the celebrations upon their return to Hong Kong.

Lisa added, “Because too many friends and colleagues from Hong Kong can’t come, especially my close friends and colleagues with whom I’ve worked for over ten years, we want to organise a big party in Hong Kong first to celebrate with everyone again. We can go on our honeymoon any time after that.”
