Luo Zheng recently revealed how gracious good friend Xu Yiyang is, as he revealed that the singer had wanted to return the monetary wedding gift that he gave her due to his financial situation.
Sharing that piece of information on a livestream on 3 November, the actor said that he gave Xu and husband Huang Zitao RMB 1,200 in cash when he attended their wedding last year.
However, after learning about Luo Zheng’s financial situation, Xu expressed her desire to return all the money. Luo said that he persuaded her not to, and in the end, she accepted RMB 200 as a token of her goodwill and returned RMB 1000.
It was back in July that Luo revealed that he had only RMB 4,800 left in his bank account after a 10-year career. He claimed that his former agency had sued him for RMB 50 million, and after negotiations, he paid several million yuan in debt until it was cleared by early 2024.
Luo and Xu became friends after working together on the web series “Perfect Her” in 2024.
