Bai Lu couldn’t help but laugh at herself before assuring fans that she is fine, after slipping on stage during the launch of her new drama, “The Last Blossom” last week.
In a video footage shared by fans recently, the actress, who was dressed in a white polo shirt and black pleated skirt at the event in Foshan, could be seen stepping off the stage to interact with fans before tripping and falling down.
However, she quickly got up and smiled as she told fans in the audience, “It’s fine. It’s just a scrape.” Bai Lu then continued interacting with fans without any issue.

Following the event, the actress immediately posted on Weibo about the incident, writing, “It’s okay, just a minor bump and bruise. I underestimated the height of that stage, hahaha (so silly).”
“Everyone, please be careful when leaving. Thank you for coming to see Yun Na,” she added, referring to her character in the upcoming drama.
The 16-episode drama, adapted from Yi Shu novel of the same name, stars Bai Lu as Wang Yun Na, who finds herself reunited with former lover Teng Haiqi just as she’s about to marry her boyfriend — who turns out to be Teng’s brother-in-law.
The drama co-stars Chang Huasen, Samantha Ko and Peng Guanying.
