After ten years under Cube Entertainment, actress and former CLC member Kwon Eun-bin has parted ways with the agency — and it seems she’s ready to close the chapter on her public life entirely.

Cube Entertainment confirmed the split on 22 May, stating that the decision was reached mutually following extensive discussions. In the send-off, the agency expressed gratitude for her decade of dedication, adding that they “sincerely support actor Kwon Eun-bin as she walks a new path.”

That new path, however, appears to lead away from the entertainment world altogether.

Kwon, who launched her career in 2016 as the youngest member of girl group CLC — showcasing her range across vocals, rap, and dance — later pivoted to acting in 2018. She went on to appear in productions such as “Bad Papa”, “Youth of May”, “Dear.M” and “Hierarchy”, steadily building a reputation as a sincere and versatile performer.

Now, the 27-year-old says she’s choosing a quieter life. She has already removed her public profiles, including her Naver page, and has since filed a request that the open encyclopedia Namu Wiki content related to her be taken down.

“I have effectively suspended my activities in the entertainment industry,” she shared. “From now on I plan to return to the life of a private citizen and live quietly. However, the Namu Wiki article remains public, and exposure of my private life and the burden continue. I respectfully request deletion of the article according to my wishes.”
