It was revealed that Tang Wei is set to collaborate with South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook in another movie, this time with a slew of Hollywood co-stars.
The actress, who has worked with the award-winning director in the 2022 movie, “Decision to Leave,” will be joining the likes of Matthew McConaughey, Austin Butler, and Pedro Pascal in the Western thriller, “The Brigands of Rattlecreek”.
Park will be helming the film from an original screenplay by S. Craig Zahler of “Bone Tomahawk” fame.
A synopsis of the project that circulated the media, read, “The film is an emotionally explosive and visually stunning meditation on the consequences of violence, the value of family, the power of memory, and the true cost of life.”
Tang Wei’s last project was the 2024 movie, “Wonderland,” directed by husband, Kim Tae-yong.
