Song Zuer (aka Lareina Song) has recently dismissed speculations that she has supposedly been liking her onscreen pairing with actor Liu Yuning via a secret social media account.
This whole thing started when a netizen claiming to be a “former CP fan” alleging that a Weibo account with the ID “Duoduo’s Baby 200810” was Song Zuer’s own alternate account.
The “evidence” she presented was quite detailed: a post in 2016 mentioning a newly upgraded iPhone 6, followed by a post about an iPhone 7 Plus in 2017; the IP addresses used for the posts consistently showed cities where Song Zuer was promoting her work; and even more remarkably, this account had followed the Song Zuer x Liu Yuning CP hashtag for 1023 days, precisely within the timeframe of the drama “The Prisoner of Beauty”, which was scheduled to begin filming in September 2024 and wrapped up in March 2025. She even claimed a screenshot of an e-ticket for Liu Yuning’s 2025 birthday livestream.
In the early hours of 13 April, Song Zuer’s official fan club refuted the rumours circulating online that a suspected private account belonging to Song Zuer had been exposed, stating that “the related rumours on the trending topics are pure fabrication.”
Song Zuer’s fans had also dismissed the content of the alleged account, pointing out that the account owner’s characteristics of “going to university in 2016” and “loving durian ice-cream” did not match Song Zuer’s personal information, with many saying that the actress once said that even the smell makes her dizzy.
On the same day, Song Zuer’s studio issued a statement on social media denying the rumours of a relationship between her and Liu Yuning.
The studio stated, “The content circulating online is untrue. They are friends and friendly business partners. We kindly ask everyone not to over-interpret the situation.”
