Hebe Tien recently revealed that she has no interest to join any reality competition, including the highly popular, “Sisters Who Make Waves”.

The Taiwanese singer, who was asked about the show recently, stated that she had actually received a lot of invitations from the programme previously, but had declined all of them.

Asked if she has a “psychological barrier” about competing in a reality show, she responded, “It’s not about any barrier, it’s that I just don’t want to take the step.”

Hebe further explained that her logic was simply based on personal preference, saying, “Everyone’s likes and desires are different; it’s just not my choice. I like to be light, free, and comfortable.”

The singer’s current focus right now is entirely on preparing her sixth solo album. She even humorously compared her creative process to that of an “advanced maternal age mother,” revealing that this album, affectionately nicknamed “Six Treasures” by fans, completed its conceptual “implantation” in March 2026 and is currently in the substantive stage of “song selection and auditioning.”

She hopes this album, six years in the making, will be “successfully produced” before the end of the year.
