The drama surrounding Shan Yichun performing Li Ronghao’s song “Li Bai” without permission continues to unfold.

Following two public apologies from Shan over the unauthorised performance at her Shenzhen concert, the organiser of her “Lil Sis 2.0” tour issued a notice on 30 March, opening a 48-hour limited-time voluntary, no-fault refund channel for tickets already sold in Wuhan and Zhengzhou.

This rare “no-fault, no-loss” refund policy appears to be a direct “chain reaction” from the controversy.

The organiser emphasised that the concerts will still proceed “as scheduled at the original time and place,” clarifying that the refunds are part of a “ticketing service optimisation arrangement.”

In a statement addressing the incident, Shan explained that the infringement stemmed from an oversight in the copyright review process. She also promised to permanently drop “Li Bai” from her setlist going forward, and expressed willingness to bear the relevant responsibilities and compensation.

The issue came to a head after Li Ronghao publicly blasted Shan for performing “Li Bai” at her Shenzhen show, despite his team having already rejected her cover request via email.
