Following Khalil Fong’s passing back in February, it was revealed that his management company is planning to complete the singer’s projects that he wasn’t able to finish during his lifetime.
On 18 November, which also marks his 20th year in music, FU Music released a statement, saying, “Khalil has brought twenty years of beauty to everyone. These eternal beauties are full of vitality and continue to blossom and bear fruit. The rich legacy he left for everyone is of extraordinary significance.”
“On this special day, we, on behalf of Khalil, would like to share with you the beautiful outlook for the next twenty years.”
The company revealed that they will be opening the Dreamer, a performance space filled with Khalil’s music and art, on 14 July 2027, the date that coincides with his 44th birthday.
They will also be publishing volumes 16 to 30 of Khalil’s children illustrated novel, “Emi the Dream Catcher,” which the company said have clear storylines. They added that Khalil’s mum has already given her greenlight to publish the books.
In addition, a documentary about Khalil is in preparation, and a special album by him is expected to be released in 2028.
Fu Music stated that these projects will be shared with everyone from time to time through announcements and videos at appropriate times, depending on the actual situation.
