14 Nov – BTS member Jungkook is at the center of controversy as videos allegedly showing him with various women have surfaced on social media platforms including X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok.

However, many fans and analysts believe these viral videos are AI-generated deepfakes. Evidence pointing to manipulation includes mismatched shoes, inconsistent street details, and footage that appears to merge authentic clips of Jungkook walking alone with fabricated scenes of a couple.

The controversy has sparked widespread speculation about the 28-year-old singer’s personal life, with some fans linking him to Aespa’s Winter based on alleged “couple items” and social media signals. More recent photos appear to show him with someone else entirely, though the authenticity of these images remains disputed.

On November 13, the alleged manager of an actress connected to the rumors denied any relationship, using a Korean idiom to warn against jumping to conclusions based on superficial evidence.

Security Concerns Escalate

The situation has been compounded by serious privacy violations. Since his military discharge in June 2025, Jungkook has faced 2 trespassing incidents at his Seoul residence:

  • June 11: A Chinese woman in her 30s was arrested for attempting to break into his home hours after his military discharge
  • August 30: A woman in her 40s entered his building’s parking garage

Fan Response

The online backlash has been severe, with some fans calling Jungkook a “womanizer” while others have defended his privacy and condemned the alleged AI manipulation. Fans have launched the #HYBEProtectJungkook campaign, demanding the agency take legal action against deepfakes, stalkers, and privacy violations.

As of now, neither Jungkook nor HYBE have issued statements addressing the alleged dating videos or the ongoing privacy concerns.
