Christine Fan (aka Fan Fan) has recently slammed rumours that she supposedly wore a necklace containing the late Barbie Hsu’s ashes.

The whole rumour sparked recently during a performance in China. The singer, who performed her hit song, “Can We Not Be Brave”, seemingly paying tribute to Barbie, attracted attention when her black heart-shaped necklace that she wore during the performance was shown on the big screen.

Many speculated that it was a cremation ashes necklace, and that it supposedly contained a small amount of Barbie’s ashes.

In response to this, Christine’s legal rep released a statement dismissing the allegation, saying that the reports were false and were done without verification, which in turn has seriously damaged the singer’s reputation.

“The actions of the relevant online platform operators, information producers, disseminators, and some of those who forwarded and commented on it have seriously infringed upon the legal rights and interests of the client and related parties. Please immediately delete the infringing information, apologise, and compensate for losses,” they added.
