Singer Nanase Aikawa updated her official website on the 19th September to announce that she is now divorced.
The singer began her post by saying, “Today, I have an announcement to make. We have graduated from being a married couple, and our family is living happily and healthily in a new way. I hope you will continue to support us.”
She continued, “Our 30th anniversary has begun and the concerts will continue. We ask for your continued support!”
Nanase tied the knot in February 2001 at the height of her career to a non-showbiz man who is 11 years her senior. She gave birth to their first son in September the same year.
Her second son was born in 2007, followed by a daughter in 2012.
