It’s the time of the Lin Chi-ling charity calendar again, and this year, Taiwanese actress-model Lin Chi-ling has picked the stars and the ocean as the theme.
The charity calendar, which has been a favourite since 2010, features the theme of “Stars in My Eyes, Ocean in My Heart” for the year 2026. Said Lin, “I hope that no matter my age, I will always possess wisdom, remaining foolish in my great wisdom and open-minded in the small things.”
“I will not pursue happiness that is too difficult, but be content and cherish what I have. I will use a positive attitude and good living habits to control my appearance, remaining calm, at ease, elegant and composed, and not seeking meaningless recognition. Of course, I also hope that time will bestow its most gentle gifts.”
The calendar will feature a double cover design, including a star version and an ocean version.
The star version presents “eyes shining with confidence and hope, symbolising the courage and faith that never extinguishes, while the ocean version represents the inner peace and abundance after experiencing storms, symbolising inner tranquillity and wisdom, and choosing to embrace the world with love with a gentle, tolerant, flexible and firm attitude.”
All proceeds from the sale of the calendars will be donated to support children’s education and medical care, promote mental health programmes for children and adolescents, advocate for women’s mental and physical health issues, and support major disaster relief and social welfare initiatives.
