Zhang Yuxi recently claimed that she has been stalked by some mystery individuals for several months.
Sharing the issue on social media on 15 September, Zhang posted two text messages, with one reading, “That man is here again. I called the police. I’m afraid they will contact Yuxi.”
In another text conversation between two people, which spoke about the stalkers, person A told person B to give his or her number if the police asked for Yuxi’s number, while person B said that, “That man was muttering something like, ‘If she’s not at the other house, she must be here. When I pushed him, he still asked me, Where exactly is she?’
Person B also stated that “today was too scary”, unlike in the past where they will just “loiter” and “smoke a cigarette”.
The actress wrote on her Weibo, “There are two groups of people involved. One group came to the home of mine and the other tenant. The other group has been following me for several months. Today, I’ve recorded the license plate of the stalkers. If it happens again, I will call the police.”
“Stalking and sending insulting messages to my family and staff is disgraceful. I will not be intimidated by you. I will always be myself,” she added.
No further detail has been given regarding the situation.
