Audiences at Terence Lam’s 30 August concert were stunned as he recently introduced his guest performer, Cecilia Cheung.
The actress, who hasn’t performed for quite some time, made a rare return to the Hong Kong stage, wearing a sheer flowy dress and putting her hair in braids.
She joined Terence in singing her classic hit “No Matter How the Weather…Cloudy, Rain…” hand in hand, and later sang “Words for the Loved One” together.
Said Terence, Cecilia was his childhood idol and that he used his own pocket money to buy her 1999 album, “Destination” when he was eight.
“It’s crazy to have Cecilia as a guest. I wonder if I’m awake yet. I’m so happy,” he expressed.
Meanwhile, the actress stated that it’s been a while since she performed “No Matter How The Weather…Cloudy, Rain…”, having performed the song at the Hong Kong Coliseum at the age of 18.
Cecilia later thanked the crowd via her Instagram story, saying how nervous yet joyful she felt on stage.
