Xu Kai has recently dismissed the allegations made by actress Xu Lisha, who accused him of cheating on her and causing their breakup in 2022.
The whole issue started back on 18 August, when the “New Life Begins” actress claimed that she dated the actor in the aforementioned year. However, she alleged that Xu refused to go public with their relationship and later cheated on her with actress Zhao Qing.
She also shared several clips and photos to back up her claim, including one of him smoking and another one of him in bed.
In a statement to the media following the allegations, Xu Kai’s studio stressed that the two parties only had a “brief encounter a few years ago” but has long lost contact.
They also claimed that the online chat records are fake and will pursue legal action against those who spread such fabrication.
On the other hand, producer Yu Zheng has also released his own statement regarding the allegation saying that there was nothing between Xu Kai and Zhao Qing, whom he said was mentored by Xu at the time.
