Aska Yang recently assured fans that he is fine, after falling from a 2-metre stage during a concert in Qinghai Province.

The incident occurred at his concert in Xining, when a stage lift malfunctioned, causing him to lose his footing and fall about two meters during the performance of his hit song, “Over the Hills”.

The concert was then halted for a few minutes as staff rushed him to the hospital, while fellow singer Julia Peng stepped in to resume the performance.

Later updating fans on his condition, Aska wrote, “I’m fine, and I’m sorry for making you worry. I feel really embarrassed. I am okay now.”

He expressed his gratitude for the organisers’ patient assistance in getting him into the ambulance, and the medical staff on board held his hand tightly throughout the journey, constantly checking on his condition and providing him with great comfort and care.

He added, “I truly love you all. Please don’t worry, I’ll be fine.”

In response to this sudden incident, the organisers immediately issued a statement, noting that the on-site medical team immediately initiated treatment and rushed Aska to the hospital for examination.
