It was reported that Ryoko Hirosue has now calmed down and will be transferred to the District Prosecutor’s Office following her arrest on 7 April for an assault on a hospital staff.
As reported on ET Today, the actress, whose agency said to have panicked and attacked a nurse at the hospital where she was transferred following a car accident earlier this week, was revealed to have no alcohol detected in her system.
The police have now requested her to cooperate in drug testing and may conduct a search at her residence if necessary.
Authorities mentioned that she was detained at the police station overnight, and her emotional state has since calmed. She was scheduled to be transferred to the Shizuoka District Prosecutor’s Office on the afternoon of the 9th. It has not been revealed whether she has pleaded guilty.
Police also stated that Ryoko seemed agitated when she was first taken to the station and attempted to walk around. By the evening of the 8th, her lawyer arrived at the station to meet her.
Earlier, Ryoko has publicly apologised through her agency, explaining that her actions toward the nurse were due to a “momentary panic,” though public opinion remains unsettled.
