So Ji-Sub is currently in talks to star in a new drama titled, “Plaza Wars” (working title).

As reported on Korea Daily, the news was confirmed by his agency, 51K Entertainment, saying, “So Ji-Sub has received an offer from the production team of the new drama. It has not been finalised yet and is currently under review.”

The drama will be an adaptation of a noir webtoon of the same name, depicting two gangs battling for supremacy in Seoul in front of the National Assembly Plaza in Yeouido.

Last year, the actor made his acting comeback in the MBC series, “Doctor Lawyer”, as well as two movies – Yoon Jong-Seok’s “Confession” (based on Oriol Paulo’s Spanish film, “The Invisible Guest”) and sci-fi fantasy, “Alienoid”.

So announced his marriage back in 2020, revealing that he had tied the knot with former TV personality Jo Eun-Jung.
