Wu Jing has recently expressed his interest in working in Malaysia, following the example of his idol, Jackie Chan.

The actor, who was honoured with the Excellent Achievement in Film Award by the Malaysia International Film Festival (MIFFest) recently, lightheartedly stated that he would be going to the train station to check it out, “hoping to find suitable locations!”

This is in reference to Jackie Chan’s “Police Story 3,” which featured memorable stunt scenes filmed at the historic Kuala Lumpur Railway Station.

As for whether there is any Malaysian action star he would like to collaborate with, he laughed and said, “Michelle Yeoh also said she wanted me to work with her, I hope she’ll give me the opportunity!”

Wu Jing, who accepted his award from Malaysian-born actor-producer Angelica Lee, said that he is honoured to receive the award, adding, “I hope to continue working even harder in the future. Thank you.”
