Nick Cheung recently admitted that he is interested in working with Fala Chen again, following their previous collaboration, “Peg O’ My Heart”.
The actor, who was reunited with his co-star at the Hong Kong Screenwriters’ Association Spring Banquet on 10 March, said that he may need sufficient time and confidence before he dares start filming again.
“Actually, I don’t have much ambition, and I’m not too keen on directing. Directing is hard work and full of worries, and you also have to keep track of your ‘performance record’,” he said.
Nick added that he will consider it again when he encounters a subject that really excites him.
He also revealed that he has tentatively agreed to star in the film “Back to 1941,” to be produced by Teddy Chan and to be directed by Chin Ka-lok, a fundraising film for the Hong Kong Stunt Performers Association.
“Of course, I want to support the association that has accompanied me throughout my growth!” he added.
