Xie Na is demanding an apology from Joker Xue, after the singer was revealed to have spoken ill about her husband, Zhang Jie, aka Jason Zhang.
The whole issue sparked after social media influencer Li Yutong took to social media after some time to call out Joker, demanding him to return some belongings and accusing him of causing her to suffer from depression for 12 years.
She also dredged up several old accusations including how Joker belittled Jason’s singing.
On 3 March, Jason’s wife Xie Na entered the conversation by publicly calling out Joker on Weibo, demanding that he formally apologise to Jason for several controversial remarks he made years ago on the show “Roast!”
In the show, Joker claimed that he “didn’t terminate my contract early, didn’t steal or rob, didn’t find a rich girlfriend to release albums, and didn’t find a girlfriend more famous than me to assist me,” seemingly accusing Jason of such.
Xie Na expressed, “Jason has only ever loved singing, lived a low-key life, and never got involved in scandals, yet he’s constantly being dragged into this and exploited! Joker, you were the one who said those things back then. You can say you weren’t talking about him, but the public opinion was caused by you, and the damage has already been done. Now, this old issue is being brought up again, and the source is still your old comments. You’ve been hiding behind the comedians, reaping the benefits while hurting innocent people! And you haven’t uttered a single apology all these years!”
Xie Na said that she only wanted one thing, and that is for Joker to formally apologise to her husband whom he has dragged into his issue with Li Yutong for no reason.
