After putting their “Re:GRASSHOPPER Concert” world tour on hold so that Remus Choy could undergo brain tumour removal surgery last year, GRASSHOPPER recently announced that they are resuming the tour and preparing for their 40th anniversary concert.
Speaking to the media recently, Calvin said that their tour ‘Re: GRASSHOPPER Concert’ really has a special connection with the word ‘Re’.
“After Remus recovered, we’re now ready to restart the tour. We’ll be bringing this concert to places like Singapore, Macau, Malaysia, and Guangzhou, to reunite with everyone,” he said. “We’ll also be rearranging many of Grasshopper’s classic songs, hoping to bring a fresh and exciting new experience for our fans!”

Calvin likened the tour return as a “hot pot”, saying, “Once you’ve had it, how could you not go for it a second time? And the second time, it tastes different!”
“Because there will be a new dish,” Edmond chimed in.
They added that after completing the four stops of their “Re: GRASSHOPPER Concert Tour”, they will move straight into their “Grasshopper 40th Anniversary Project”, which includes a new album featuring Remus Choy’s latest song “Older and Spicier” and Calvin Choi’s “Family”, as well as a concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum in April 2026 and a world tour.
They added that more details will be released in December.
