Tony Yang couldn’t help but express elation over his first Golden Bell award, which he won for his performance in “Oops! I’m in Jail,” and has now turned to social media to continue his speech of gratitude.
The actor recently posted several photos on Instagram to share his thoughts, having secured a win as Best Supporting Actor after six previous nominations, saying that there were so many people he wanted to thank that he wasn’t able to do so properly on stage.
This includes Yvonne from YIYI Pictures, manager Iga Chen and Gaby Hu, actress Cheryl Yang, as well as the rest of his family.

He also thanked wife Melinda Wang, saying, “You often tell me how much you support me, but today, I want you to know that I’m able to stand on this stage because you’ve given me the freedom and peace of mind to do what I want, along with a calm and stable life.”
“Thank you to every wonderful and admirable member of the cast and crew, both in front of and behind the camera! Finally, I dedicate this to my Father in heaven, whom I’ve felt a little distant from lately,” he added.
Tony, who debuted in 2001, shared at the event that he had been looking forward to this moment for more than two decades. Now that he has finally stood on the Golden Bell stage and taken home his first trophy, he wanted to use the opportunity to thank everyone who has supported him along the way, ensuring they all know how significant they are to him.
