Yui Yokoyama and Shota Gogami recently announced that they have welcomed their first daughter together.
Sharing the good news in a joint-statement on 26 October, the couple expressed, “We are elated to announce that our first child was born recently. With the support and assistance of so many people, we were grateful to be able to welcome this special day.”
“We will work together and do our very best to ensure that our precious little daughter grows up healthy and enjoys happy days ahead. We sincerely appreciate your continued support,” they added.
Together with the statement, the couple also shared an image of their baby’s footprints.
The former AKB48 member married the Junretsu member in December 2024 and announced the pregnancy in June this year.
