One OK Rock’s Ryota Kohama has recently confirmed rumours that he is now dating anew.
Amid tabloid reports that he is now with model and entrepreneur Saeko, the bassist took to social media to address the reports saying, “As some of you may already know, I am currently in a relationship.”
“One of the things that brought us together was her long-standing, sincere dedication to animal rescue and relief efforts for disaster-stricken areas. Witnessing her work firsthand and gradually becoming involved myself, I found myself deeply resonating with the values and sentiments she holds dear; I came to realise that I wanted to walk the path ahead together with her, moving in the same direction.”
Ryota said that he wanted to share the news himself with the fans who have always supported him, adding, “I would be happy if you could continue to watch over us warmly.”
Prior to the new relationship, the Japanese musician was married to Michelle Lavigne, the sister of Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne. The couple, who have a daughter together, ended their marriage in September last year.
