Yoyo Mung recently revealed that Moses Chan was the reason why she decided to reduce her acting roles despite being at her career peak in the 2000s.

In a recent interview to promote her new movie, the actress, who made her acting comeback with the movie, “Good Trip” alongside Nick Cheung, shared that she had been working tirelessly when she was with TVB, filming one drama after another.

She said it came to a point where she began to reflect as to whether it was something that she wanted.

But it was a moment with fellow TVB actor Moses Chan that sealed the deal for her, said Yoyo, after they went to an all-you-can-eat buffet one day and Moses asked her what the word meant.

“He said that he had been filming at TVB for two years, and he was basically always on different sets, so he didn’t know what was happening outside and didn’t know what ‘all-you-can-eat’ meant. I thought to myself, I can’t be that person,” she said.

That particular conversation made her realise that life is more than just work.

“I felt that life shouldn’t be like this. We should have time to see things, because we feel differently about things at different stages,” she said.

It was soon after that Yoyo decided to leave the TV industry and began her travels with husband Ekin Cheng, whom she married in 2013.
