It was revealed that several of Zhao Lusi’s haute couture costumes have gone missing, following her concert in Macau.
The concert organiser recently issued a statement, admitting the disappearance of the custom-made outfits, adding that they have officially reported the case and are fully cooperating with the police investigation.
“These dresses had unique exclusive design markings and were not only very valuable, but for Lusi and the entire team, they carried countless efforts and precious memories of the stage,” they stated.
The organiser said that they have yet to obtain any useful leads after reviewing all footage from the concert, which was held back on 11 and 12 July.
“We hereby appeal to the public: If you or someone you know has found or mistakenly accepted the performance costumes, please contact us via private message on this official Weibo account. If you voluntarily return them, our company will not pursue any related responsibilities against the person who found them and will express our sincere gratitude,” it stated.
However, the company said that if they find the dresses in the second-hand market, auction platforms or other public channels, they will assert all property rights in accordance with the law and take all legal means.
The company also apologised to Lusi for the incident, adding, “Because of our negligence, Ms. Zhao Lusi’s valuable stage work was damaged, and the public who were concerned about this concert experienced worry and disappointment. Our company deeply reflects on its actions and fully accepts responsibility for this incident.”
