Kenneth Ma has laughed off rumours that his wife Roxanne Tong is now pregnant with their first child.
The whole rumour started after the actress was spotted going out in a loose-fitting outfit, with her figure seeming to indicate that she was pregnan. Further fuelling the rumour was the fact that she has not had any new dramas in recent months, and that Roxanne was revealed to have been visiting a traditional Chinese medicine clinic.
When asked about this, Kenneth said that Roxanne always prefers to wear loose clothing in the summer to avoid discomfort from sweating.
“But my wife has seen the photos and said she has indeed gained a little weight recently and is actively trying to lose it! We will definitely let everyone know if there is any news about us, so please don’t be too anxious. Thank you for your concern!” he said.
As for the TCM clinic visit, Kenneth said that it was to help with her insomnia, adding, “Her sleep has improved now, so the medication has indeed helped. It was not as bad as before.”
He also denied the notion that the actress is not working, saying that Roxanne has been filming all along.
“She will film any advertisements she receives on social media platforms. It just so happens that the company has not arranged for her to film any dramas recently,” he added.
