Salomon recently announced that it has appointed BLACKPINK’s Jisoo to be their new Global Ambassador.
Sharing the news on its official social media account, the French outdoor sports equipment brand stated, “We’re excited to announce a new chapter. JISOO joins Salomon as our Global Ambassador; a shared vision shaped through outdoor lifestyle, fashion and culture.”
“Welcome to Salomon, JISOO,” they added.
Meanwhile, Jisoo, who is used to nature being someone who grew up near the mountains, stated, “Being outdoors always gives me a sense of freedom, composure, and inner peace… What I value in Salomon is the balance between functionality, movement and style.”
Jisoo is no stranger to sports-related brands. In 2024, the American athletic apparel retailer Alo Yoga announced Jisoo as the new face for its Spring 2024 campaign.
