Huang Zitao’s camp has recently addressed previous report that the singer was fined for illegal parking and modification of his sports car.
In a statement released following the reports, his studio acknowledged the violation and stated that the fine had been paid.
“After verification, Mr. Huang Zitao did indeed violate parking regulations and prohibitory signs. We deeply apologise for this and sincerely accept the criticism. After the incident, Mr. Huang Zitao has deeply realised his mistake. He went to the traffic police brigade immediately after receiving notification from the traffic management department last night, and received education and paid the fine early this morning. The violation has been resolved,” the statement read.
In response to external concerns that the vehicle involved “illegal modifications,” the studio emphasised that the only change was to the body colour and that they made the mistake of not registering the change. This, it stated, is an administrative procedural violation and is fundamentally different in legal characterisation from “illegal modification,” which involves damaging the vehicle’s safety structure or altering its technical parameters.
“Finally, Mr. Huang Zitao and his studio once again apologise to the public and will take this as a lesson to strengthen their understanding of laws and regulations. We also urge everyone to consciously abide by traffic regulations and jointly maintain a good traffic environment. We sincerely apologize again for unintentionally occupying public resources,” the statement concluded.
