Reen Yu recently revealed that she has already received several acting offers after announcing her comeback to the industry 10 years after her hiatus.
The actress, who spoke to the media at a charity event recently, stated that she is currently reviewing projects, hoping to find a suitable story and character as her comeback vehicle.
However, Reen admitted that she is also taking care of her daughter, so details such as timing and schedule are still under negotiation.
She also joked that she does not want to take on character roles that are too young at this stage, “for fear of being accused of pretending to be young.”
Asked what her daughter thinks of her return, Reen laughed and said that she and her husband Vic Chou are not big stars in their child’s eyes.
“What she admires about her dad is that he personally picks her up and drops her off at school whenever he has time,” she joked.
