Actor Lee Jong-suk has been offered a role in the new drama, “Paradise”.
On 13 May, a rep from the actor’s agency responded to rumours of his involvement in the project, saying, “‘Paradise’ is one of the projects Lee Jong-suk has been offered.”
The series is a new work by writer Kim Soo-jin, who penned the drama “Beyond Evil”, and marks her first project in approximately five years. The drama will be directed by Oh Choong-hwan, who previously worked with Lee Jong-suk on “While You Were Sleeping” and “Big Mouth”
Lee is reportedly being offered the lead role of reporter Kang Chi-young, and follows the said character as he and police officer Cha Jung-won uncover hidden secrets and truths while getting entangled in unimaginable incidents.
The actor was last seen in the Disney+ series, “Law and the City”.
