EVAN, formerly Heeseung of ENHYPEN, will embark on a full-fledged solo career next month.
The news was confirmed by his agency BELIFT LAB on 11 May, stating that EVAN will release his first single this coming June and make his official debut as a solo artiste.
“We will provide further details in future announcement,” the company added.
This move comes just three months after he left the team. Earlier last March, the singer left ENHYPEN and change his stage name to EVAN, citing differences in his musical direction.
Heeseung (EVAN), who debuted with ENHYPEN in 2020, has been active as the team’s main vocalist and has established his presence as an all-rounder equipped with a solid vocal tone and skills in vocals, rap, and performance. In particular, he has demonstrated his qualities as a singer-songwriter by showcasing his capabilities in songwriting, composing, and producing through various songs such as “Highway 1009” and “Dial Tragedy”.
