Despite the death of veteran actor Benz Hui, Charmaine Sheh still maintains a good relationship with his daughter, also named Charmaine.
On 9 May, the actress posted a photo of her attending Charmaine’s 29th birthday, and wrote, “Happy 29th, little sis. This year has been heavy. But I need you to know: you are not alone. You never will be. We’re right here, loving you, watching you grow.”
“Here’s to your last year of your twenties — and so many more birthdays together,” she added.
The younger Charmaine also commented on the post, writing, “I love you.”
Benz passed away from illness last year at the age of 76. In the past, the veteran actor often worked with Charmaine Sheh, playing father and daughter on the small screen. The two were also close offscreen, with the actress saying that she would continue taking care of his family and carry on his optimistic and positive spirit following his death.
