Yuki Uchida recently announced that she is now married to former actor and now her manager, Takashi Kashiwabara.
Sharing the news on her official website, the 50-year-old actress and the 49-year-old former star expressed, “To all of you who have always supported us, and to everyone involved, we are deeply grateful for all the kind words you have given us.”
“As reported in some media outlets, Takashi Kashiwabara and Yuki Uchida have registered their marriage. Given our long-standing relationship, both professionally and personally, we have already shared details of our relationship with the media, and therefore refrained from making any further announcements. We hope you will understand why we have to report this to you in this manner.”
The couple also stated that their collaboration as artiste and manager is now changed into the form of a family, and that they will continue to hold hands, cherish kindness, and live each day together.
“We would be grateful if you would continue to watch over us warmly. We look forward to your continued support,” they added.
In January of this year, Yuki left the agency that she had been attached to for many years and moved to a personal agency run by Takashi.
