Pets Tseng has recently denied rumours that she is withdrawing from “Ride the Wind 2026” (aka “Sisters Who Make Waves 7”), after having made her comeback through the show.
Reports recently suggested that the Taiwanese singer is withdrawing due to copyright issues with her song “Enough Love”. It was also alleged that she was negatively affected during the show, causing many fans to worry.
In response, Pets personally addressed the controversy in a live broadcast, clearly stating that she would not leave the show. She emphasised that she would continue to challenge herself on the stage of the show, adding, “I will bravely continue to make a breakthrough for myself in the journey!”
She also posted on social media after the competition, promising to bring more amazing performances in the future.
It’s worth mentioning that the news of Pets’ withdrawal from the competition not only shocked the audience, but also affected the other contestants on the show. Hsu Meng-chieh, who was competing with her, immediately asked Pets if she was really leaving after seeing the related trending topics. She could breathe a sigh of relief after being told the opposite.
However, despite Pets outstanding performance on stage, doubts about the show’s fairness have not subsided. Some viewers pointed out that she ranked first in online voting but only 11th in the live score, a significant discrepancy that sparked discussions about behind-the-scenes manipulation.
