Kai Ko recently revealed that he was actually surprised by rumours of romance between him and I-dle member, Shu Hua that was reported last year.
The actor, who spoke to the media at a brand event on 22 April regarding the rumour, stated that he has always been a homebody and has basically no contact with the singer.
“I am usually busy at work and spend most of my time at home when I am not working,” he said, adding that he is the kind to just go with the flow when it comes to relationships.
However, Kai admitted that he has received a lot of backlashes from netizens over the rumour that his management has already dismissed.
“This is a free era. The company’s response is enough; I am not affected,” he said.
The whole rumour sparked in July last year, when Kai decided to post a comment with three smiling with eyes closed emojis on the singer’s social media post.
Kai, who had since deleted the comment, responded to a question about the rumour in the same month of July, saying, “I was just passing by her post. I’m sorry if I had caused trouble to her and everyone.”
