Louis Koo recently admitted that he didn’t notice the laser pointer that was shot at him by an unknown individual, an incident that sparked fury among his fans earlier.
The actor-producer, who was asked regarding the incident during his appearance at a store launching event, said that he didn’t know it at the time, and that he was moving fast that it would be hard for it to get an aim at his eyes.
However, Louis acknowledged the fact that such behaviour is dangerous.
“It’s hard to avoid it because you don’t know when someone will do it. They will have to wear sunglasses!” he said lightheartedly.
Louis’ fans were previously calling for the arrest of a perpetrator, who harassed the actor-producer with a laser pointer during a film event. They expressed their ire especially due to the fact that the actor has previously revealed that he wears sunglasses in public due to his eye problem.
In a past interview, the actor revealed that he has two retinal perforations in his right eye, as well as floaters, where he often sees black lines floating around. He stated that he doesn’t have time to have surgery yet, thus needed to wear sunglasses to relieve the discomfort.
